Roadshow does double duty at Derby County
January 2012. The roadshow had a double bill on the agenda in mid-January when we set off for the East Midlands and two appointments in Derby: one specifically for the football club, the other for its most important customers, the fans!
In the morning, we called in at Pride Park for a private demonstration of the rail seat concept to Derby County executives and other interested parties.
Set up at pitchside, the roadshow unit enabled all present to actually see and experience rail seats for themselves.
Evening event in the pub for fans
Then later that day, we set up again in a local pub for an event attended by fans and the local press.
Watching with interest
The club are "watching developments with interest", while the fans were delighted by what they saw and all in favour of having safe standing at rail seats in an area of Pride Park at some time, they hope, in the not too distant future.
Fans pictured here trying out the safe standing section include (centre front) the organiser of the evening event, Nick Webster (aka @dcfc_flagman) and John Hemsworth, Chairman of the Derby County Supporters' Clubs (front right).
